As a result he has become the most experienced surgeon in achalasia surgery in the province of Malaga with more than 30 surgical cases. He has also undertaken more than 400 cases of simple and complex hiatus hernias, in addition to launching the laparoscopic colonic surgery unit.

He has extensive experience in gastric cancer surgery performing open and laparoscopic gastrectomies (total and partial gastrectomy) in oncology cases. He has performed more than 300 laparoscopic surgeries in oncological colorectal cases, also performing TAMIS and TEM in less advanced tumours.
In recent years he has introduced new procedures using innovative diode laser techniques for haemorrhoids and complex perianal fistulas.
