Dr Llácer, a graduate in Medicine from the University of Granada and with multiple Masters degrees specialising in oncology, has dedicated her career to deepening her knowledge of digestive and genitourinary tumours, particularly focusing on prostate cancer. Her academic background is extensive and varied, including studies in molecular oncology and participation in advanced programmes such as the ESMO University Extension programme.
Apart from her academic excellence, what really distinguishes Dr Llácer is her focus on precision medicine, a key tool in modern oncology. “Thanks to research, we find safer and more precise medical treatments for patients. Precision medicine allows us to determine the nature of the tumour and design effective treatments based on the genomic and molecular characteristics of each patient’s tumour.
