Until very recently, the usual solution was to modify the hairline by removing redundant skin and bringing the scalp forward. But this approach left a visible scar and did not eliminate the male shape.

Instead, our Facial Team surgeons’ approach to the frontal-orbital complex lowers the hairline and eliminates the recession at the temples by using a modified crown approach. This allows the incision to be completely hidden in the scalp, allowing us to easily access the forehead and brow region that we want to sculpt and to subsequently redefine the hairline and cover the recessions at the temples through a hair transplant.
