Phonosurgery

This technique allows us to resolve the majority of voice problems that are caused by a benign organic pathology, such as polyps, nodules, cysts, Reinke’s edema, etc.

 

What is phonosurgery?

This short surgery lasts around 30 minutes in most cases, but it requires a highly-skilled surgeon in order to avoid injuring key parts of the vocal fold, such as ligaments or muscles, so that after the surgery phonation is of higher quality than prior to surgery.
