HC’s exceptional and dedicated nursing team maintain this high standard of care, whilst being respectful of patient diversity. This ethos is continued by the staff in patient services, administration, cleaning, kitchen and maintenance.

Since its inception, HC has focused on the area of oncology, becoming a cancer reference centre (HC Cancer Center) on the Costa del Sol. As research is known to be a key tool in advancing cancer treatments, HC is working to create a Clinical Trials Unit to develop understanding of the efficacy, safety and action of new drugs to improve quality of life and cure rates for patients. In parallel, a laboratory is being built for cancer genome sequencing, HC Cancer Center will be the first private centre in the province of Malaga to provide this.

HC’s medical services include each of the medical and surgical specialities, its Diagnostic Imaging Unit is particularly renowned for being one of the best technologically equipped radiology centres in Andalusia.

Its commitment to technological innovation has been constant, extending not only to equipment unique to Marbella, including a state-of-the-art PET-CT scanner and Tomotherapy System (Marbella’s first radiotherapy service), but extending also to other areas including digitalisation of the hospital. Together these provide the highest quality service, prioritising safety alongside speed and efficiency, for patient convenience.

Having our own diagnostic imaging centre and laboratory enables our patients to undergo all their investigations in the same place, surrounded by people they trust, benefitting from a single appointment and comprehensive, early-detection, diagnostic and treatment programmes. Medical professionals from each of the different specialities work as a team to find the best treatment for each individual.
