HC Cancer Center’s director is a medical oncologist who has undergone intensive academic and scientific training and who has 30 years’ experience in renowned hospitals such as the 12 de Octubre Hospital in Madrid, the Royal Marsden in London and the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, Barcelona. Dr. Trigo has also led the Thoracic and ENT Cancer Unit and the Clinical Trials Unit at Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital.
Specialising in lung, breast and head and neck cancer, he has led Phase I clinical trials and has actively participated in numerous research projects for the development of new anti-tumour drugs, contributing significantly to advances in cancer treatment.
He fights tirelessly to ensure his patients have access to the best and most innovative treatments, concerned not only with curative treatment, but also with enabling best possible quality of life.
Dr. Trigo is an oncologist who practises with empathy, actively listening, caring for patients’ needs whilst accompanying them throughout the process, a process always based on the latest scientific evidence.
