Hematology – Coagulation Unit

Hematology section primarily applicable to the analysis of blood samples, but also other body fluids (for example, pleural fluid, peritoneal, etc).

 

Coagulation section corresponds conducting examinations involved in the evaluation of the state of hemostasis in patients, namely elucidate risk factors related to bleeding or thrombosis. Blood counts, coagulation studies, erythrocyte sedimentation rates.

 

Program autotransfusion, blood bank, deposit of blood (packed red blood cells and other blood as plaquet).

 

Special tests, study bone marrow.
