• It can also be used in an ablative fractional way for the treatment of acne scars, stretch marks, xanthelasmas and  facial rejuvenation.
• In an ablative fractional way its function is to produce microlesions in thermal columns which are microscopic. • The average number of sessions is usually around 3, but each case must be evaluated and it will depend on the degree of aging.
• For a week after the treatment, the skin will still be red and there may be scabs and some oozing.
• It is vitally important to avoid exposure to the sun.
• The duration of the treatment will depend on the extension of the area. Around 30-40 minutes.
• A local anaesthetic in the form of a cream will be needed 1 hour before the treatment.
• The period of recuperation varies from 5 to 7 days according to the intensity of the treatment.
