Among its features, it stands out for its ability to detect lesions 36% smaller, thanks to the quality of its crystals, and the “time-of-flight” technology, which essentially improves image contrast by 200%. It also includes a system called “respiratory gating”, which synchronizes image acquisition with the patient’s breathing, further enhancing the quality of images of moving organs. Additionally, it allows a reduction of up to 50% in the amount of radiopharmaceutical injected without compromising image quality.
All of this enables much more precise information to be obtained at much earlier stages.
