PET/TC and neurological diseases

PET-CT methodology uses strong magnetic fields and radioactive isotopes with the aim of assessing the brain processes when a person is at rest or performing a specific activity.

This process makes the use of this test fundamental in neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, as well as in other pathologies.
