Our 64 slice (upgradable to 128 slice) CT, offers innovative technology, guaranteeing very high quality images and providing a high scanning speed, achieving much shorter exposure times and a better and more comfortable experience for the patient.

It is the first go. CT to be installed in Spain, and boasts the latest, exclusive, advances in technology including:

 

  • Tin Filter, allowing us to obtain ultra-low dose 3D images, with a dose similar to that of a chest X-ray, automatically adapting to each individual patient.
  • Acquisition often during the same breath-hold, without lung movement, allowing provision of higher quality images and achieving more complex, detailed studies.

  • Radiation protection for vital organs: able to perform a 3D head scan, without irradiating the lens of the eye, and a 3D lung scan, without irradiating the breast.

    •  

  • We can obtain images from patients with metal implants (hip prosthesis, pacemaker, dental implants, etc.) which are fully diagnostic, performed at ultra-low doses and eliminating artefacts often produced by these implants, thanks to iMAR technology.

    •  

  • Our technician, closer to the patient: The CT is controlled by tablet and remote control, enabling us to always remain close to the patient; thanks to the integrated camera we are also able to keep control of the patient’s position at all times.

    •  

  • Dose reduction of intravenous contrast by up to 50%, protecting the patient’s kidneys: our CT is able to obtain 3D images of the human body using low energy and high power, allowing us to reduce the contrast required.

    •  

  • Images of the heart: Thanks to its speed and exclusive reduced-dose technology, we are able to obtain high-quality, 3D images of the heart with the lowest dose.
