Radiotherapy

Radiotherapy uses ionising radiation for therapeutic purposes. Radiation damages the cell cycle, preventing the cell from reproducing, causing its death.
 
Although it has generally been associated with oncology treatment, in recent years, radiotherapy has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antiproliferative effects, eliminating numerous symptoms associated with other diseases such as pain, inflammation or impaired function.
