Indicated for people with:

• Multiple moles or nevi.
• History of burns in childhood or adolescence.
• Chronic sun exposure (people who have their sport or work outdoors).
• Antecedents of melanoma in their relatives.
• History of a previous skin cancer.
• Patients immunosuppressed either by treatment or another cause.
• People with fair skin, blond or red hair, low photo types (who always burn, and do not tan).

Anyone can have a skin cancer and should be consulted if:

• There are changes in a previous mole or nevus (in shape, size, color, itching or other discomfort).
• Appearance of a mole or previous skin lesion that previously did not exist.
• Small scales or crusts that do not heal that last more than 1 month on the skin.
• Appearance of a fast growing growth.
